Join Southern Hills Arts Council!

Southern Hills is a non profit organization serving Jackson County and the surrounding area. We work to enhance the quality of life in the region by encouraging and stimulating the practice and appreciation of the arts. Your membership is critical to our continued operation. Membership is open to all. Activities are free of any discrimination based on race, gender, color, religion, national origin, or disability.

In house programming includes our Gallery, Writers Circle, Knitters, D.M. Davis Male Voice Choir, Art Camp, and Newsletter. We have two prominent events, which are not held in house: Foothills Art Festival and Childrens Summer Arts Classes.

Your membership helps support Southern Hills Arts Council as we bring programming to the community at low or no cost, but does not commit you to any active participation. Please help us continue to broaden cultural horizons for folks in Southern Ohio by renewing your membership or starting a brand new one.

• Membership Levels are as follows:
  
  
• Student: full-time students 21 years of age and younger. $15.00 per year and entitles the member to discounts on classes.
  
  
• Senior: those 65 years of age and older. $20.00 per year and entitles the member to discounts on classes.
  
  
• Individual: $30.00 per year and entitles the member to discounts on classes.
  
  
• Family: $50.00 a year and entitles members of an immediate family to discounts on classes.
  
  These four categories will receive postcard notifications of all Gallery exhibitions, special mailings, our newsletter, and will be eligible to cast ballots in Board elections.
  
  For those who will be frequent attendees of our theatre performances, a new category has been created. These members will have all the privileges extended to the first four categories but will also get an as yet undetermined percentage discount on ticket purchases.
  
  
• Performing Arts: $100 per year. You may purchase discounted tickets for your immediate family members and visiting guests.
  
  
• Sustaining membership: $500 per year. Entitles you to all perks listed above and places your name in the programs handed out at each of our performances. You will be listed on the Coming Attractions screen in the Lobby. You will further be rewarded with Two Free Tickets to One Performance Of Your Choice during the year.
  
  
• Corporate: $2,500 per year. Entitles the member to all perks listed above and One Free Use of the Markay during the year. The estimated value of this rental is $1,000. The member will also have its name prominently listed in each program for our productions and will be listed on the Coming Attractions screen in the Lobby.
