73rd OHIO VOLUNTEER INFANTRY REGIMENT BAND

The 73rd Ohio Volunteer Infantry Regiment Band, organized and directed by John M. Huffman Jr.,
seeks to portray a 19th century military brass band that was formed in Southern Ohio in 1860s.
Currently comprised of 22 members, the band is made up of individuals from
different parts of the state and performs period correct music on 150 year old instruments
wearing period correct Federal uniforms. The band, based in Waverly, has played at
a number of concerts, reenactments, parades, weddings, formal balls,
and other musical events throughout the state of Ohio.
The group has also performed at the annual Remembrance Day weekend in Gettysburg, PA.


BART & THE CHASERS - BART WISEMAN

Bart and the Chasers play their own songs and many others, from Hank to Hendrix.
The Southern Ohio band plays a wide variety of Rock, Country, and Blues.
Members are Bart Wiseman, John Conn, and Don Mays.

The Ohio University Jazz Ensemble I is under the direction of Matthew James.
Matthew James is Professor of Saxophone and Jazz Studies and Associate Director
of the Ohio University School of Music in Athens, Ohio.
The OU Jazz Ensembles are open to all qualified students by audition, regardless of major,
and provides students with a variety of performance opportunities.
The Jackson High School Jazz Band I, under the direction of Aaron Rex,
will be joining the OU Jazz Ensemble.

If you're looking for a band with a swingin' rhythm and an old timey flavor, look no further.
Ohios Premier Western Swing Band, Back Porch Swing, combines the talents
of five noteable musicians responsible for the tapping of thousands of feet
across Ohio for the last 15 years. The band specializes in Western Swing, but plays several
musical styles, ranging from Appalachian tunes, Blues, Old Country & Folk,
to a lot of Swing music from the '20's, '30's, and '40's.
The band includes: Adam Jackson, fiddle; Kris Geis, lead & harmony vocals;
Dave Irwin, bass; Pete Shew, lead & harmony vocals, guitar; Caleb Hutslar, keyboards;
Andy Merritt, electric mandolin, swinging fiddle

ANGELA PERLEY & THE HOWLIN' MOONS

There is something magnetic, vulnerable, dangerous, and electric about Angela Perley
that has been causing buzz around the artist and her band The Howlin Moons.
Perleys four-piece band features longtime friends Billy Zehnal and Chris Connor, on bass
and lead guitar, and a stable of drummers, rotating in and out when the group is on the road.
The bands live shows ooze with swaggering baselines and guitar riffs and their songs
range from dreamy reverb-laden crooners to roots rock anthems.
Since their incarnation in 2009, the Columbus, Ohio based band has released four EPs
and two full length albums. Their new album "Homemade Vision" was just released in January.

The Salty Caramels

On a clear night in the fall of 2012, four sultry women joined forces to create
a sound never before heard in Columbus.
The Salty Caramels were born with a sound so sweet and salty
which would soon inspire audiences of all ages.
Based in central Ohio, Molly Winters introduced Alabama native Paige Strickling
to local musicians Sarah Overdier & Emily Ng.
You can expect to hear a variety of instruments ranging from classic guitar,
and fiddle to quirky suitcase drums and kazoos.
As a collaborating four-piece, The Salty Caramels write original songs and play
toe-tapping, nostalgic covers for an exciting and unique set.
Over the past year, these four ladies have not only perfected their songs and sound,
but also the full performance.
Expect to enjoy great music, fun outfits and witty banter.
